The “Dar de Volta” project promotes the reuse of textbooks

The Network of Public Libraries of the Municipality of Palmela, in partnership with the Group of School Libraries of the Municipality, is promoting another edition of the “Dar de Volta” project.

This project, promoted by the Association of Municipalities of the Setúbal Region, aims to reuse school manuals (from Basic to Secondary Education), making them available, free of charge, to those who need them. At the same time, it intends to contribute to reducing the ecological footprint in the Municipality.

If you have textbooks in good condition that you no longer need, you can deliver them to any of the Network’s Libraries: Palmela, Pinhal Novo, Quinta do Anjo and Marateca (during the month of August, you can do so from Tuesday to Friday Tuesday, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm).

You will be able to collect the manuals for the next academic year (2021/2022) from the 3rd of August. If you need manuals that have been used in previous academic years, you can now arrange for them to be collected. These are available throughout the year.
