Until the end of the year, there is a cycle of free artistic activities taking place in Porto. The actions are aimed at young people between the ages of 12 and 26 and seniors over 65 and are part of the project “INCukTurar-te: Including for Culture”, promoted by Clube Fenianos Portuenses, in partnership with Teatro Experimental do Porto. (TEP), Apuro and the IPSS Asas de Ramalde.

The program includes four workshops, entitled “À volta do piano”, “Cineclube 8MM”, “Ensaio Falado” and “Mini course in illusionism”. All of them take place on weekends, except for the third one, which also has activities scheduled for Wednesdays.

In the musical sessions “À volta do piano”, to be held once a month, participants are invited to interpret the songs played by the pianist, thus exploring their “musical awareness” and, at the same time, promoting moments of socializing and learning. The next sessions are scheduled for October 23, November 27 and December 11.

During this cycle, young film lovers have the opportunity to experience all the work involved in the seventh art, from the conception of the project to the final presentation of the film, in sessions open to the public: the “Cineclube 8MM” workshop takes place on 8, 15th, 22nd and 29th of October.

The presentations of the October films are scheduled for the 15th and those of November and December, respectively, for the 12th and 10th, always at 4:30 pm. In turn, the sessions of the last two months of the year take place on November 5, 12, 19 and 26 and on December 3, 10 and 17.

Through the “Mini-course on illusionism”, Clube Fenianos Portuenses seeks to open a window to the fantastic world of illusionism, its history, rules and tools. An “unforgettable experience” is foreseen for the public, who can participate in the activity on October 8th and 22nd, November 12th and 27th and December 10th, the day on which the final presentation is scheduled. The sessions take place at 15:00.

Theatre was also not forgotten in this artistic cycle and is highlighted through the workshop “Ensaio Falado”, produced by Fenianos Portuenses with coordination of Rui Spranger, artistic director of Apuro, and Gonçalo Amorim, artistic director of TEP. It will be a guided journey through the multifaceted world of theatrical texts, which will culminate in the recording of audiobooks, later made available in libraries.

This month, the theatre workshop takes place on Saturdays, at 3 pm In November, it takes place on Wednesdays (2, 9, 16 and 23), at 10 am and, in December, the course will take place from 19 to 23, in the same morning time.

Remember that all activities are open to the general public and free of charge.

“INCukTurar-te: Including for Culture” is a project promoted by Clube Fenianos Portuenses, in partnership with Teatro Experimental do Porto (TEP), Apuro and IPSS Asas de Ramalde, and with the support of the Northern Regional Operational Program. – Norte 2020, which aims to promote a set of activities designed to promote the inclusion of groups at risk of social exclusion or disadvantage, for young people between 12 and 26 years of age and seniors over 65 years of age.

The project aims to create socialization spaces that promote processes of valorization and improvement of self-esteem through the development of artistic activities and experiences of development and reinforcement of personal skills to support active social inclusion and tending to the construction of personal paths of inclusion.
