The social organizations benefiting from this campaign were SOS Children’s Villages International (with €23,884) and the YMCA (with €12,860).
During the past month of December, Prosegur Alarms carried out its Christmas campaign – “Prosegur Protect Christmas” -, which celebrated the first edition worldwide.
The campaign aims to support social causes with a donation of more than 36 thousand euros and, in this edition, the two social organizations that participated in the campaign were SOS Children’s Villages International and YMCA – Young Men’s Christian Association.
Prosegur Alarms, a world reference in the domestic security sector, is carrying out this Christmas campaign with the aim of contributing to the development of relevant initiatives in favor of the well-being of the population. To this end, it seeks to cooperate with recognized causes and generate a positive impact on society.
Thus, Prosegur Alarms invited its customers to choose, through voting throughout the month of December, the cause with which they felt most connected. Voting was carried out through the website prosegurprotegelanavidad.com, with a total of 3,914 votes registered, of which 804 went to the YMCA and 3,110 to the organization SOS Children’s Villages International. The final result is the sum of votes from Prosegur Alarms customers in Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. In this sense, the prize was divided between the two organizations as follows: €23,884 for SOS Children’s Villages International and €12,860 for the YMCA.

In addition, in early 2023, Prosegur, through its Foundation, plans to organize a corporate volunteering day with SOS Children’s Villages International, with the help of Prosegur Alarms employees to continue supporting the important work of this organization.
