Public Image Ltd, punk returned to Lisbon

LAV - Lisboa ao Vivo

Public Image Ltd, that is, PIL, came to Lisbon, the band led by John Lydon, was at LAV, where they screamed, howled and sang, to a room that vibrated from start to finish.

After having visited the Hard Club in Porto, they were in Lisbon, at LAV, to attract an audience of fans, where, in addition to their most iconic songs, they presented “End of World”, the album they released in August, the first in 8 years, and which sets the tone for this Tour, which in addition to the concerts in Portugal will take him to stages in Europe.

Despite the different formations, the band always revolved around Lydon on vocals, guitarist Keith Levene, bassist Jah Wobble and drummer Jim Walker, and they never stopped being punks, they never had two albums the same, choosing their path without looking backwards or sideways, exploring sounds and instruments, and even knowing some pop hits like “This is not a love song” and “Rise”.

From the new album, we can hear “Car chase”, “Penge” or “Being stupid again” among others, songs that gave new life to the many teenagers aged 40, 50 or 60, who came to see it, dance, howl and sing in a fantastic concert produced by At The Roller Coaster.
