It was a pu that didn’t come out by chance…
In PZ’s own words:
“This is one of those texts to read diagonally.
They are meaningless, empty and disconnected words. Words without return, lost in time and space. They are simply consumed, read in the hope of getting somewhere… but we stay the same.
It’s entertainment, it’s corny, it’s stupid, it’s cool, it’s good, okay. Move on to the next one, with photos is better, with video there are no words. We eat images and devour bodies, with shame on our faces and shame on our faces. We lost the thread, but we continued on the digital highway with advertising panels spoiling the landscape and dressing up the characters. And what’s the harm? What is the good? Might as well give it a go. It has more impact than most shit a guy sees…
But better than giving a simple gift, why not give a supportive gift to create even more impact and help those who need it most this Christmas? Go from there PZ invited Nuno Markl, Inês Castel-Branco, Eduardo Madeira, Carolina Torres, António Raminhos and Benedita Pereira to give a prize for a bottle, bottles that will be auctioned on their Instagram pages and whose recipes will revert entirely to União Audiovisual, a social and cultural association supporting cultural professionals, shows and events. The result of this unusual adventure in search of solidarity resulted in a video clip directed by Alexandre Azinheira, responsible for other PZ classics such as “Croquetes”, “Neura” or “Sem Ponta Por Onde se Pega”. Now, a “Pu” comes out that serves as the perfect motto for “O Fim do Mundo em Cuecas”, PZ’s new album scheduled for release in early 2024.”
“Pu” is now available for download in our Meifushop, as well as on digital streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.
