Flights to Medina, Saudi Arabia, will be operated by an Airbus A320 with 12 seats in first class and 132 seats in economy class.

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce the resumption of service to Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina from 1 October 2021, with four flights per week. In addition, the airline will launch a new service to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on December 3, with two flights a week. To these new routes will be added the resumption of operations to Luxor, on November 23, with four flights a week, and also the increase in frequencies on the route to Cairo from October 1, 2021, with three more daily flights to the Egyptian capital.
The reactivation of operations to Medina and Luxor and the launch of flights to Sharm el-Sheikh will allow passengers flying to and from these locations to enjoy a seamless connection to more than 140 destinations in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas, via the best airport in the world, Hamad International Airport.
The expansion of the service in Egypt and Saudi Arabia will give football fans more travel options to watch the FIFA 2021™ Arab Cup in Qatar, enjoy the best hospitality in the country and personally follow their national team. The region’s main tournament will take place between November 30th and December 18th, 2021.
