Qatar Airways launches exclusive partnership with luxury fragrance brand ‘Diptyque’
Qatar Airways introduced a new line of luxury toiletries for premium passengers. Created by the pioneer Maison Parfumeur Diptyque, the new product range will adorn First and Business Class bathrooms aboard the planes and in the airline’s premium lounges around the world.
[dropcap]Q[/dropcap]atar Airways is excited to be the first airline to launch the Diptyque personal care product range worldwide. The new collection includes a velvet hand lotion with luxurious fragrances of sweet almond and petitgrain, hand washing gel with notes of lavender, rosemary and a touch of ylang ylang, facial water with infusion of floral notes of rose, virgin cedar and lemon petitgrain, and essential face cream with a heart of roses, voluptuous notes of spicy pear and the freshness of lemon petitgrain. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion complete the range of products offered to customers in Qatar Airways’ premium lounges at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and other key airports.
Founded in 1961, Diptyque’s history began in Paris, with three friends driven by the same creative passion and unique taste. With more than 70 independent boutiques and 700 points of sale, the brand has a strong presence worldwide. Driven by a passion for travel and discovery, Diptyque explored the path to rare and noble essences by inviting passengers on a genuine journey of the senses.
The collaboration reflects Diptyque’s celebration of French art of living, taking Qatar Airways passengers on an extraordinary olfactory journey with these skin care products. The vision of both brands is to inspire and delight passengers by creating meaningful and improved experiences that will remain with the passenger long after their trip. This collection from Qatar Airways and Diptyque is just the beginning of a longer and more immersive journey that the two brands hope to take with more collaborations in the months to come.
The collaboration between Qatar Airways and Diptyque is facilitated by FORMIA, the leading international specialist in receptions and hospitality, for a first-class collection on board the industry leader.
The award-winning airline continues to invest in improving products and the passenger experience, despite the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Last month, Qatar Airways announced that it will soon become the first airline in the world to offer passengers Zero-Touch technology through its award-winning in-flight entertainment system, Oryx One, across the A350 fleet.
Qatar Airways has a growing portfolio of premium lounges in key markets. These exclusive lounges are located in Bangkok, Beirut, London, and Paris. Last year, the airline opened its latest premium lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, which now serves as a benchmark for future Qatar Airways premium lounges around the world. Featuring an ultra-luxurious interior and fine dining, the new premium lounge aims to bridge the gap between first-class and business-class lounges.
