15th edition will explore the intersection between AI and human skills
The fair promises to provide its visitors with a renewed perspective on the future, which encourages innovation, creativity, but also empathy. AI will be the most explored topic, but one of the big news is the presentation of an area dedicated to organizations that educate for inclusion.
Exponor will reopen its doors, in 2024, to host the 15th edition of Qualifica. The Education, Training, Youth and Employment Fair will return from March 6th to 9th to explore the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The event, in addition to being an exhibition for education, aims to encourage critical thinking among young people and teaching professionals, towards a great objective: embracing progress without losing humanity.
Based on the motto “In the era of artificial intelligence, be human”, the event will address the growing impact of AI on education, the job market, as well as everyday life. An invitation is made to reflect on how children and young people, immersed from an early age in the technological environment, can preserve and strengthen exclusively human attributes.
“We will explore the intersection between the future and the essence of Man, creating a training epicentre for the youngest. We intend for it to be more than an exhibition fair, transforming into a space where young people can explore technological innovations, but also understand that it is imperative to nurture what makes us intrinsically human – critical thinking, incessant curiosity and empathy”, explains Amélia Estevão, Marketing Director at Exponor.
To visit an enriching experience for all young people, families, educators and teachers, Qualifica will present a space that is divided into six exhibition areas. The central theme, which is AI, will be represented throughout the fair. In order not to detract from the human dimension, one of the premieres will also be the “Educate to Include Space”, which will be dedicated to organizations that develop educational offers, contributing to a more inclusive digital future.
The “Education Space” is one of the biggest highlights, year after year, as it presents the vast training offered to its visitors, which extends from north to south of the country, between schools and professional centres, Higher Education Courses, Masters and Postgraduate courses. Degrees. “Study Abroad” will highlight educational, training and internship options across borders.
In order not to compromise fun during the visit, the fair will also feature the “Animation Space”, in which fun and entertainment activities will be developed to promote talent. Beauty, fashion, dance and gaming will be just some of the areas represented in this area. Finally, the “Didactic Space” will have some materials and equipment on display, such as books, school supplies and educational software.
Anyone can visit the 15th edition of Qualifica, purchasing tickets at event check-in, for the cost of four euros. As for study visits, these are free and registrations can be made on the official website.
