Quinta da Alorna presents a new creation that combines the versatility and refinement of a young and relaxed red wine to the savoir-faire of a centennial property. This is the new harvest of Quinta da Alorna Tinto 2016.
Intending to establish itself as a reference among the ranges of daily consumption, Quinta da Alorna Tinto 2016 seduces by the ruby tone charged and the unique aroma with hints of ripe red fruit, notes of chocolate and a slight touch to spices.
Rich in fruit and dense in the mouth, with round tannins, it owes its subtlety to the combination of the varieties Syrah, Castelão, Tinta Roriz, and Alicante Bouschet, confirming the heritage of previous harvests and imposing itself by the incomparable personality.
Quinta da Alorna Tinto 2016 is, therefore, the perfect option to elevate to a new gastronomic level the daily meals, being indicated for red meat dishes, charcuterie, and delicious risottos.
“The use of four different vine varieties allowed us to add complexity to this new harvest, and the Charneca with predominantly sandy soils gave it the freshness and elegance that distinguish Quinta da Alorna wines. We are sure that this is an excellent wine, full of joviality and flavor, that will value the daily meals with the unmistakable personality of Quinta da Alorna wines, reflecting the extraordinary region in which the property is inserted “, he affirms. Martta Reis Simões, an oenologist at Quinta da Alorna.
