Radio SBSR with a special broadcast on Meco on the day when the 26th Super Bock Super Rock would start
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n the day that the 26th Super Bock Super Rock would start, Rádio SBSR prepared a special broadcast with guests, performances, memories of the Festival, and the concerts that made history at Meco. We will also know the new confirmations for the new dates of the 26th edition of the Festival in 2021.
The 26th edition of Super Bock Super Rock would start today, and to celebrate the occasion, Rádio SBSR, which is heard on 90.4 (Lisbon) and 91.0 (Porto), and on www.sbsr.fm, marks the 16th of July with a special broadcast dedicated to the Festival.
In a broadcast from Bar do Peixe, in Praia do Meco, and from the studio in Lisbon, the Radio SBSR team celebrates this day with the first-hand announcement of the new poster confirmations for the 26th edition of Super Bock Super Rock, with performances Pedro de Troia and GANSO broadcast on the radio, from 9 am and 5:30 pm respectively, and also with the presence of several guests who are part of the Festival’s history.
Through the broadcast of Rádio SBSR, guests like Luís Montez, the Mayor of Sesimbra, Paulo Ventura, stage manager of the Super Bock Stage, Rui Miguel Abreu, from Rimas e Batidas, Keso, Mónica Jardim, Margarida Guerreiro, Pedro Gomes and Metallic Cameraman will make an appearence.
Throughout the day, there will also be pieces on the bands already confirmed for the Festival edition in 2021 and on the various editions of the Festival, as well as testimonies from journalists and figures related to the media, who have accompanied the various editions of the Festival year after year as João Gonçalves, Luísa Barbosa, Paulo Garcia, Nuno Calado, Ana Ventura and Rita Carmo.
All of them will remember on this day unforgettable moments, experiences, and many stories around Super Bock Super Rock lived over the last 25 years of the Festival.
Throughout the day, Rádio SBSR will also contribute to the dissemination of União Audiovisual, an informal group of professionals in the audiovisual field, which met at the beginning of the social crisis caused by the pandemic of COVID-19 with the aim of to collect and distribute food by the audiovisual professionals who need it most.
