Rafael Pimenta and Daniel Nascimento at the 2022 World Improv Championships
Two great improvisers will be present at the 2022 World Improv Championships that takes place on April 15th and 16th. The Lisbon Coliseum hosts, in its absolute debut in Portugal, the 1st World Improv Championship.
Rafael Pimenta and Daniel Nascimento do not need presentations, Daniel Nascimento belongs to the renowned company Barbixas and Rafael Pimenta is part of the cast of the show “Portátil”, by the comedy group Porta dos Fundos.
They come to Portugal to try to revalidate the title of World Champion for the Brazilian team, which in 2008 they won by a large margin in the World Championship organized in the city of Bogotá.
There are 6 national teams from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, will face each other on the coliseum stage in search of the supreme title of World Champion 2022.
In competition will be some of the most renowned improvisers of today, who through improvised scenes will try to win the public’s vote and obtain the highest possible score. All this managed by the relentless whistle of one of the best referees of the moment and two international judges.
