Raquel Tavares conquers the castle of Lisbon
On the second day of the Fado in the Castle, the fadista Raquel Tavares came on stage with the Gospel Collective, and with good music, a lot of joy and sympathy.
The castle of S. Jorge in Lisbon was the scene of another night of Fado no Castelo, a spectacle with the organization and quality EGEAC, which was attended by Raquel Tavares, one of the most known and important names of contemporary fado.
Whoever went to the Castle, and endured a few hours of standing, to be able to have tickets to see this show, certainly arrived at the end very happy. The fadista dazzled all the presents with a fantastic performance, where interpreted some of its fates better known.
With the audience, the correspondent and accompany the fadista in their interpretations, spontaneously, in their most famous fados, their last album “Raquel”, but also, in fados celebrated by other Portuguese fadistas.
They then joined Raquel Tavares on stage, the Gospel Collective, in a mix of styles that dazzled the audience.
The Gospel Collective, with strong and experienced voices, from genres such as jazz, soul, rock, afrobeat, hip-hop and funk, and a passion for Gospel, gave another dimesão to the show.
Once again Raquel Tavares, who has already accustomed us to have in his works the participation of artists of other musical genres, always with very successful interpretations, has returned to be very happy, in this fusion between Fado and Gospel.
