An endocrinologist, with pioneer work in Portugal in the field of obesity, Isabel do Carmo was also a political activist, having founded the Revolutionary Brigades with Carlos Antunes in 1970. She has written several scientific articles and health books for the general public.
On the 30th of April, Isabel do Carmo will be talking to the historian Raquel Varela, as part of another session of the Conversations with History cycle.
