Reacher, the hit series is back and bigger than ever! Prime Video reveals the official trailer for the second season of Reacher, which will premiere on December 15th. After the positive response to the first season, the new episodes have even more action and risk. The new 8-episode season will premiere weekly, following the release of the first three episodes on December 15, and ends on January 19, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world. Reacher had a global audience the size of Jack Reacher, becoming one of the top five most-watched original series globally on Prime Video during its debut season.
Fans of the series can rewatch the first season, as well as a wide range of action and crime thrillers available on Prime Video, such as Jack Ryan, Citadel, Haven and The Terminal List.
The second season of Reacher begins when a police officer and ex-military Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message informing him that members of his former army unit are being mysteriously and brutally murdered, one at a time. Casting aside his nomadic lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three former colleagues to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant whom Reacher has long had a crush on; and razor-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos). Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes increase with each step, and which raises questions about who betrayed them – and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of intelligence and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for sure, it’s that they shouldn’t mess with the Special Investigators. This season, get ready for Reacher and the 110th team to fight back with force.
Based on Bad Luck and Trouble, the 11th book in Lee Child’s best-selling series, the second season stars Alan Ritchson in the lead role of Jack Reacher and Maria Sten, Serinda Swan and Shaun Sipos as key members of the 110th Unit. Military Police Special Investigations. The cast is rounded out by Ferdinand Kingsley as A.M., a mercenary whom national security calls a “ghost”; Robert Patrick as Shane Langston, head of security for a private defense contractor with a questionable track record; and Domenick Lombardozzi as tough NYPD detective Guy Russo.
