About Being, Jonatan Haller tells us that “…speaks of union, of the desire to be able to be with the one you love the most without wasting time with the distractions of life.”
This need present in Jonatan Haller’s life is due to the fact that “from a very early age I lived an almost nomadic life and I was never able to really be with my whole family at the same time. After returning to the land where I was born (Virgins of Gondomar, Porto) I wanted to dedicate a song to them and that’s how Estar was born“, tells the singer and songwriter.
But who is Jonathan Haller? Jonatan Haller is a citizen of the world with origins in Slovenia and Portugal, he has spent the last few years playing in the streets of Lisbon and touring Europe. A few years ago, he participated in the TV show La Banda and was even one of the finalists taking part in the BMRNG project.
Before living in Portugal, Jonatan Haller lived in Slovenia, Peru, and Brazil. Music has always been part of his life, his mother is a professional classical music performer and his father is a music enthusiast. He started by imitating Michael Jackson, at home he played the piano, at school he took cello lessons, then he started producing electronic music until he realized that he liked to sing “I let out a few screams and I liked the sound of my voice, I started practicing the guitar and writing songs, then I realized that it was something for life” says the artist. Jonatan Haller writes and composes life, and accompanies his voice with a guitar and a “loop station” where he records percussion and beatbox.
This year, he was one of the street artists to participate in the Buskers World Cup mega festival in South Korea, as well as in the EMA Eurovision Slovenia
