Lisbon Library Network delivers books to your door

The ‘BLX at your door’ project is the Lisbon Library Network’s answer to people who want to maintain access to reading in confinement. Residents in Lisbon with a BLX Network Card can join this service.

Loan and book return requests are made by telephone, 21 817 30 90, or by email, bib.galveias@cm-lisboa.pt, Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 5 pm

With the libraries closed, you can still leave the books in the return boxes available 24 hours, seven days a week, in the David Mourão-Ferreira, Marvila, Galveias Palace, Orlando Ribeiro, Penha de França and Belém libraries.

BLX teams comply with all safety rules, and use personal protective equipment determined by CML services. They do not enter the house, making the delivery or return to the door of the house, always maintaining the minimum safety distance of 2 meters. The distribution vans are cleaned daily.
