The Fundão Largest Cherry Auction will take place tomorrow, Friday, May 15, at 11:00 am. The highest cherries will be auctioned and the amount raised will go towards individual protection equipment for household staff in the municipality of Fundão.
The session will take place from the Casino Fundanense Press Room and will be broadcast live through the Municipality’s Facebook page.
This is one of the initiatives planned to promote Cereja do Fundão, which this year is inspired by the proverb “Conversations are like Cherries”.
Between May 20 and 23, nine guests participate in live conversations on Instagram with the company of Cereja do Fundão. Filipa Gomes and Gisela João, Carla Rocha, Ana Galvão and Joana Marques, António Raminhos and Catarina Raminhos, Ana Bacalhau and Rita Redshoes are the hosts of this initiative, which takes place on their Instagram pages.
The 28th and 29th of May is the turn of chef Martinho Moniz to do a live cooking inspired by Cereja do Fundão, this time on the official Facebook page of Cereja do Fundão.
