The Tryp Lisboa Caparica Mar Hotel, located on the iconic Costa da Caparica waterfront, has just completed an ambitious total renovation project, with a total investment of approximately 4 million euros.
To mark this new phase, a special event was recently held on the hotel’s rooftop – Sunset by Aperol – which marked not only the launch of the new Sky Bar but also the official presentation of the renovation to journalists and tourism professionals.
Part of the Hoti Hoteis Group portfolio since 2015, the Tryp Lisboa Caparica Mar is the largest hotel in the chain, with 354 rooms, and a landmark property in the Greater Lisbon region. The extensive renovation work across all areas of the hotel reinforces the group’s strategy of enhancing its assets and elevating the guest experience to a new level.
The renovation also fits into the strategic relationship with the international chain Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, owner of the TRYP by Wyndham brand. The renovation was attended by international executives from the brand, emphasising the importance of this hotel within the global partnership.
With a new, contemporary and bold design, inspired by the connection with the sea and the surrounding nature, the hotel now boasts spacious, welcoming, and functional spaces designed to provide a year-round lifestyle experience. The concept goes beyond aesthetics: it aims to break with seasonality and position the hotel as an attractive destination in any season.

The Sky Bar by Aperol, located on the eighth floor, is the city’s new meeting place, with stunning ocean views and an ideal setting for relaxed evenings. Restaurante Horizonte also maintains its prestige, with a menu inspired by regional flavours and panoramic views stretching from the Sintra Mountains to Cape Espichel.
With this renovation, TRYP Lisboa Caparica Mar reinforces its position as a premier beach destination, open year-round, where comfort, style, and authenticity meet by the sea.
