El Olivo, Convertidas and O Lago restaurants celebrate gastronomy on Mother’s Day

Inspired by the unconditional love between mothers and children, the El Olivo Restaurant at the Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa, Convertidas at the INNSiDE by Meliá Braga Centro Hotel and O Lago at the Meliá Ria Hotel & Spa have prepared special buffets to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 4th, with everything they deserve: good company, excellent cuisine and lots of affection.

In the Braga units, the menus are very different. At El Olivo, the menu will include a selection of starters, including Smoked Salmon, Sausages, Gizzards and Snacks. The following hot dishes will be served: Grilled Octopus Tentacles, Braga-style Cod Steak and Braised Veal Medallions in the “Perfect Mother” style. Dessert will be a true festival of flavours, with options such as Abade Priscos Pudding, Orange Pie and Cheesecake.

At Convertidas, Shrimp, Fennel and Orange will be the highlights for starters. Turbot with Lemon and Basil Ravioli, garnished with Crustacean Foam, will be the composition of the fish dish. For the meat option, we will serve Beef Sirloin, Saffron Potato Gratin, Lettuce Mix and Poultry Jus. For dessert, we suggest Strawberry Pavlova, Lemon Mousse and Speculoos.

In Aveiro, the buffet will be equally complete, with simple and mixed salads, soups and main dishes, including the Zé do Pipo-style cod loin, spare ribs with barbecue sauce and grilled picanha with pineapple. Finally, Tiramisu, Red Fruit Panna Cotta and the traditional Ovos Moles are guaranteed.

Both meals at Restaurants El Olivo – (+351) 253 144 000 and O Lago – (+351) 234 401 000, will cost €39 per person. At Convertidas – (+351) 253 200 200, lunch will cost R$42 per person. Reservations can be made via each restaurant’s telephone number.
