Ricardo Batista won world triathlon title in juniors
The Portuguese Ricardo Batista won the world triathlon title in juniors today, winning the championship final in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Ricardo Batista completed the 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike and five-race race in 55.05 minutes, seven seconds less than Australian runner-up Redmond Lorcan.
Spaniard Sergio Baxter Cabrera finished third, 11 seconds behind the winner.
José Vieira abandoned the race in the race sector.
