Ricardo Gouveia and Pedro Figueiredo in the top-20 at the Royal Óbidos Golf Resort
Ricardo Gouveia and Pedro Figueiredo concluded, this Saturday, the third round of the Open de Portugal within the top-20 at the Royal Óbidos Golf Resort, where the German Marcel Schenneider took the lead in the Challenge Tour tournament.
After passing the cut in 10th place, Melo Gouveia, second in the ‘Race to Majorca’, gave up two places in the standings, by delivering a card with 71 shots (-1) for an aggregate of 209 shots, seven under the Par 72 of the field.
While Pedro Figueiredo guaranteed his best performance of the week, with 68 shots for a total of 210 shots (-6), Miguel Gaspar, the third national representative to play the last 36 holes, fulfilled the par of the course and shared the 50 1st place on the leaderboard, led by Scheneider with 199 shots (-17), three ahead of second-placed Spaniard Alejandro Del Rey.
