Portuguese golfer Ricardo Melo Gouveia qualified for the decisive round of the Andalucia Valderrama Masters in Sotogrande, Spain, after completing the second round with an aggregate of 143 strokes (one over par).
In a race that has suffered several interruptions due to bad weather, Melo Gouveia delivered today a card with 71 strokes, with three birdies (one below) cancelled by three bogeys (one above).
Melo Gouveia passed the ‘cut’ of the tournament, fixed in 146 strokes, integrated into the group of the classified in position 25.
The tournament, scored for the European Tour, is led by the Spaniard Sergio Garcia, who follows with an aggregate of 132 strokes.
