Ricoh Portugal presents the strategy for 2019 in Lisbon

The company is committed to growth based on digital workplaces and new work formats

Ricoh was recently distinguished through integration into the Magic Quadrant of Gartner in the MWS – Managed Workplace Services category of Europe

The company is committed to a global growth strategy aimed at digitizing business processes, and its focus is on helping companies to be more agile, productive and profitable. “We anticipate organic and inorganic growth based on the strength of our printing business, and focused on fostering digital workplaces and new ways of working based on mobility and collaboration,” said Ramon Martin, CEO of Ricoh Spain and Portugal.

After the presentation of the new products, the conference “How to drive change in organizations”, led by Eng. In this context, Ricoh plans to make investments, such as the recent acquisition of the Zeed Security cybersecurity platform under which the CEO of Ricoh Iberia states “to enhance the company’s knowledge and cybersecurity capabilities, one of the most common requirements among our customers, not only in the area of IT services but also in all our business lines, including printing, “explains Ramon Martin. This report, published by Gartner, highlights Ricoh’s broad offer in this field thanks to innovation as well as acquisitions such as Aventia in 2013, a user experience and e-commerce company, and Techno Trends in 2017, a unified communications and video conference.

In the field of office printing, the company also bets on the innovation of smart technology to scan companies, as is the case of the new range of multifunction equipment IM C2000-6000 launched in January 2019.

The new multifunction range offers a qualitative leap and incorporates customizable, secure, sustainable and easy-to-use technology. In this way, these devices are no longer just simple office tools to become digital document management platforms connected to the Cloud, which include multiple applications to support and improve the business processes of companies.

Ricoh also expects to grow in the commercial and industrial printing business with investments in innovation that enable the printing of new materials and the development of additive production or 3D printing.
