Today Tainá introduces ‘Rio‘, a new single that is already available on digital platforms. After her return to the originals with ‘Peito Dividido‘ and in line with the nature that surrounds her, Tainá now releases ‘Rio‘, a song about mundane sadness.
Filmed in Serra da Lousã, Coimbra, ‘Rio‘ is an intimate song dedicated to a friend of Tainá’s who was at a more watery moment in her life. The video, recorded on a winter day at the end of last year, reveals some of the most emblematic landscapes that the mountain has to offer and presents us with the angelic side of the talented artist.
Distinguished in the second edition of the Play Awards, in the Lusophony category, Tainá was recognized for the talent, hard work, sacrifice and courage it took to edit her eponymous debut album in 2019. A dream come true for the artist of Brazilian origin, with indigenous ancestry, who landed in Portugal from his native Brazil, where he grew up and studied music working at school to pay for his tuition.
With 23 years of nomadic life, Tainá is an excellent storyteller, singer and songwriter, who begins to build a musical and lyrical legacy capable of uniting both sides of the Atlantic through her music.
