In 2022, she returns to record editions, with the release of the new album of originals “Morremos tanto para crescer”, scheduled for March 25, with the Valentim de Carvalho label.
“A ti, nunca”, with the participation of noiserv, is the first theme of the album available on digital platforms.
It’s a song about overcoming and courage, a story about the reality of countless women who abandon toxic and violent lives, who are reunited with life in a moment of fresh start. Rita Dias’ lyrics have a unique sensibility, enhanced with music composed by herself and by the multi-instrumentalist noiserv, who also takes on the production of the theme.
This is a new chapter in Rita Dias’ career. In her new work, “Morremos Tanto para Crescer”, the singer-songwriter explores her cultural roots, crossing them with new sounds and aesthetics, and staying true to her happy, warm, contemplative and hopeful Portuguese music. The album also has the participation of more guests, which will be revealed in time.
