Rita Ferreira and Ana Teixeira are European champions in balance
The Portuguese Rita Ferreira and Ana Teixeira were crowned, this Thursday, European champions of balance, by winning the gold medal in the European acrobatic gymnastics, taking place in Pesaro, Italy.
The duo, who won the competition with 28,640 points, thus joined this title to that of world champions, won in July, in Switzerland.
In the competition in Italy, Raquel Casqueiro, Leonor Mendes and Mariana Rocha also won the silver medal, while Bruno Ramalho and Fábio Beco, in dynamic exercise, were fifth and Dinis Cardoso and Maria Marvão, in balance, were sixth.
In the groups, Bárbara Sequeira, Francisca Maia and Francisca Sampaio Maia, as well as Bruno Felizardo and Bruna Gameiro in mixed pairs, stayed for the qualifications.
