Rita Ferreira and Ana Teixeira won this Sunday an unprecedented gold medal in women’s doubles at the World Acrobatic Gymnastics in Geneva, Switzerland.
Rita Ferreira and Ana Teixeira, with 29,120 points, outscored the Americans Emily Davis and Aubrey Rosilier (28,580), and the Russians Diana Korotaeva and Amina Omari (28,520).
Barbara Sequeira, Francisca Maia and Francisca S. Maia took bronze in the final of the female group category.
