Rita Onofre, after releasing the official music video for the song “Criatura“, announces the artists invited to her concert taking place on April 30th at BOTA ANJOS, Lisbon.
Num ano em que Rita Onofre apresentou ao mundo a sua “Criatura” no Festival da Canção da RTP, a artista prepara-se agora para subir ao palco do BOTA ANJOS, em Lisboa, para cantar algumas das suas canções mais memoráveis num formato acústico e intimista, mas não sozinha. Ana Mariano, Elisa Rodrigues, Juliana Anjo e Sara Cruz são as artistas convidadas que se juntam a este espetáculo que é também a celebração dos 28 anos de Rita Onofre.
“No dia 30 de abril faço-me acompanhar de quatro incríveis artistas. Pessoas que me inspiram através da sua arte, entre conversas e acordes trocados. Vou entrar nos 28 com quatro vozes que me atingem no sítio certo, e partilhando o palco da BOTA mostrando composições partilhadas”, refere Rita Onofre.
In a year in which Rita Onofre presented her “Criatura” to the world at the RTP Song Festival, the artist is now preparing to take the stage at BOTA ANJOS, in Lisbon, to sing some of her most memorable songs in an acoustic and intimate, but not alone. Ana Mariano, Elisa Rodrigues, Juliana Anjo and Sara Cruz are the guest artists who join this show, which is also the celebration of Rita Onofre’s 28th birthday.
“On April 30th I will be accompanied by four incredible artists. People who inspire me through their art, between conversations and exchanged chords. I will join the 28 with four voices that hit me in the right place, and share the BOTA stage showing shared compositions”, says Rita Onofre.
“Criatura” music video:
Filmed in December 2023, before participating in the Festival da Canção, the video for “Criatura”, dialogues with the performance created for the RTP stage, in which Rita Onofre took part as a composer and which took her to the final of the program. Many of the scenic and visual cues recreated there come from this imagery created by Rita Onofre and Ana Viotti for the “Criatura” music video, which can now be seen on YouTube.
Rita Onofre thus closes the “Criatura” cycle and is preparing to release new originals, shortly, which will be part of an EP that will be released in 2024.

About Rita Onofre
Rita Onofre is the name of the 27-year-old artist and composer, born in Oeiras, for whom a life making music was a certainty from an early age. She picked up the guitar at the age of 10 under the influence of her father who decoded the guitar intuitively. At 12 she began writing her first songs and taking guitar training with teacher and singer-songwriter Ricardo Reis Pinto. At the age of 15, she entered the professional Music Production and Technologies course at the ETIC Professional Image School, ending with an internship at the Groove Farm studios in Rome, Italy. She takes her first voice lessons with Joana Espadinha, where she opens her horizons and realizes that it is at the Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School that she should continue her path. She finds inspiration and new horizons in the Artistic Studies course at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, which ends in January 2020.
At 16 she started with SEASE, an indie pop band with Choro and Gonçalo Vasconcelos with whom she stepped onto the first stages and entered national underground radio (Vodafone, Antena 3, Oxigénio, TSF). It was during the pandemic that she began publishing songs in Portuguese under her name. “Haja Semper” (2020) was the first single followed by others that were included in two collections: “Ao Pé de Mim” on Vodafone Unreleased 2020 and “À Porta” on Novos Talentos Fnac 2021. The good reception and support from the radio stations national (Antena 3, Vodafone FM, Oxigénio, TSF, and Renascença, among others), were part of the motivation to launch the first short, the EP “Raiz” in 2021.
The debut in the long-term format was in February 2023 with “hypersensitive”. They are ten hypersensitive songs, from the lyrics to the arrangements, from the voices to the confessions. “Perdoei” and “Rancor” were the singles chosen.
The album “Hipersensível” was preceded by a year of collaborations: in 2022 he released “Sonhar”, a duet song with singer Elisa Rodrigues; “Se Tem Tempo” in collaboration with Yanagui; participated in “Volume I”, the debut album by the collective Avalanche, where you can hear “Neblina” (with Sara Cruz and Luar); and edited “CORPO” (with Choro and NED FLANGER).
Everything was the starting point for live performances at Musicbox, Casa da Música, NOS ALIVE 2023, Plano B, and Teatro Miguel Franco (Leiria).
Still, in 2023, she was selected as the author of the Festival da Canção 2024, through the free submission of songs.
