It was a Capitol full of fans, friends and family that welcomed Rita Redshoes, for a night full of charm and excellent good sides, which even had cats singing.
“Lado Bom”, released in October 2021, is the singer’s fifth original album and the first entirely written in Portuguese. The album received the José da Ponte 2022 award, given by the Portuguese Society of Authors, one of the most important national awards.
Rita Redshoes won over the audience from the first moment, who applauded her from the first chord, “Lado Bom” with a more intimate record, created in a pandemic, and with the inherent difficulties of confinement, but the result is excellent.
One of the most emotional moments was the song ‘Rosa Flor‘ dedicated to her daughter Rosa, who lovingly clung to her mother, and didn’t want to let go of her, which was followed by the most fun when Rita sang as she had promised, a song of cats singing, Rosa’s favourite song, “Rosa’s favourite song, which of course is not mine” added Rita.
A memorable concert, which featured the songs from their new album but also their most well-known themes.
