Rock in Rio Lisboa announces full poster for the world stage on Ed Sheeran day

After surprising fans with the new location for the edition that celebrates 20 years of Rock in Rio Lisboa at Parque Tejo Lisboa, the festival has just revealed the names that will join Ed Sheeran on the Palco Mundo in Cidade do Rock, on June 16, 2024. Calum Scott, Jão and Fernando Daniel join the British artist, promising a day full of hits.
But there is even more news: for those who want to guarantee their presence in this edition of the festival, which marks its 20 years in Portugal, Rock in Rio Lisboa announced the opening of ticket sales on October 20th, from 10 am. Tickets will be available at Worten stores – the official ticket office of Rock in Rio Lisboa 2024 -, at worten.pt, on the Worten APP and on the festival’s official website, at tickets.rockinriolisboa.pt. On this date, weekend passes will be available (with limited stock) valid for two days of the festival (15th and 16th or 22nd and 23rd June), for a value of €147; and also daily VIP tickets for those looking for a more exclusive experience, costing €360.

British star Ed Sheeran is now joined by Calum Scott, Brazilian pop phenomenon Jão and Portuguese artist Fernando Daniel.

Rock in Rio Lisboa will provide Jão with the opportunity to debut at a Festival in Portugal.
Fernando Daniel is the first Portuguese name to be confirmed in the Rock in Rio Lisbon 2024 edition. Songs like “Nada Mais” and “Tal Como Sou” are good examples of the depth of his lyrics and the intensity of his interpretations, characteristics that led him to win over the large number of fans who have supported him since his first steps. Rock in Rio also announced that, for the first time in 20 years, Worten will become the festival’s official ticket agent, marking a collaboration that promises to revolutionize the ticket purchasing experience as the retail chain has more than 150 points of sales (Worten stores) from the north to the south of the country, together with the Worten website and the Worten APP. Buying tickets will become more accessible and practical for all fans.

Fernando Daniel is one of the most relevant national pop artists today. Since 2018, when he released “Salto”, his debut album, public recognition and distinctions have continually proven him. For him, it is a scenario that is very familiar to him, as he became known to the general public through his participation in the programs “Factor X” and “The Voice Portugal”. In 2020, Fernando Daniel released “Sem Ti”, which won the Golden Single mark, a song he wrote and composed in partnership with Agir. This was the first duet between two of the most popular artists of the new generation of Portuguese music, despite having already collaborated on Fernando Daniel’s first album when Agir composed and wrote the song “Mágoa”, the third single taken from “Salto”.
