Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho debuts, at the Maria Matos Theater, on the 7th and 8th of September, his most recent project, RUGE. An encounter of poetry and music at the crossroads of written, sung and spoken words.
[dropcap]R[/dropcap]UGE is a show about love and everything around it. It’s about passion and revolt. It was born out of a passion for words, which came together in sentences. Then they grew and became an urgency to be said and heard. The microphone was placed close to the heart. Then the music came and they held hands. There are dramas and outbursts, and laughter barely hidden in ironies. Without any fear of showing emotions, RUGE is a narrative of poems and songs about us all.
