Rodrigo Leão gives recital in Colombo

The Portuguese composer promotes a recital, on December 18, at 7 pm, with his most recent work “A Estranha Beleza da Vida”.

It’s already next Saturday, December 18th, at 7 pm, that Rodrigo Leão returns to the stage with a piano concert, in the Central Square of Centro Colombo. Within the scope of “Cultura no Centro”, Rodrigo Leão offers us a sample of themes included in the last albums. The recital celebrates the trilogy “A Liberdade”, launched in October by the Portuguese composer, presenting the new themes that emerged before, during and after confinement.

The artist is accompanied by his usual band: Ângela Silva (voice, synthesizer and metallophone), Viviena Tupikova (Voice, violin and piano), Carlos Tony Gomes (cello) and João Eleutério (guitar, bass, synthesizer, percussion, Indian harmonium and choirs). There are also some surprises, such as a local youth choir interpreting, among others, the choral parts recorded on the album “O Method”. After the concert, at 8:30 pm, the artist will have an autograph session at FNAC Colombo.

In addition to this concert, Natal do Colombo also presents moments of pause with the sound of the piano by Olesya Kyba, which take place on December 21st, 22nd and 23rd, also in Praça Central, at 7 pm.

These concerts take place within the scope of the “Cultura no Centro” initiative, the project of the centres managed by Sonae Sierra that aims to support national and regional artists and cultural entities.
