On his sophomore album, Kansas Anymore (2024), Role Model laid his heart bare, and fans embraced him as the musician mourned the end of a previous relationship through a set of folk-influenced, lyrically driven songs.
Global streams of the album quickly surpassed 139 million, and tickets for the “No Place Like Tour” sold out worldwide. Now, Role Model is back with four new songs included in the digital deluxe edition of the album.
In the captivating “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,” the Role Model tentatively ventures into a new romance, imploring: “Sally/That feeling’s coming around/Please don’t go falling in love/Then disappear when the wine runs out.” After Role Model previewed the song, “Sally” began trending on TikTok and already has 35,000 creations and 150 million views on the platform. Role Model performed “Sally” earlier this month during their Australia/New Zealand tour.
Throughout 2024, Role Model gained many new fans and saw explosive growth on social media, gaining over 340 million new followers.
