With dozens of names on the poster today revealed on social networks and the promise of “surprise guests”, the festival that has been held since 2015 in Florida will lead Portimão Chief Keef, Gucci Mane, Lil Uzi Vert, Tyga and Young Thug, among many others.
The event’s co-founders, Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler, said, quoted by the NME, that “after five years of building an audience in the United States, brick by brick, it’s time to take the party to our friends in Europe.”
“The location on the beach in Portugal is the perfect place to start our European invasion”, they add.
Rapper A$AP Rocky was in Portugal at Primavera Sound do Porto in 2018, while Future has already been on the SBSR stage in 2017. Wiz Khalifa was at the Sudoeste festival in 2016.
