The Portuguese begins the new year in the best way.
Cristiano Ronaldo was chosen this Thursday, the best footballer in the calendar year 2018 at the Globe Soccer Awards, held in Dubai. The Portuguese ace wins this prize – awarded by the European association of football businessmen (EFAA) and the European club association (ECA) – for the fifth time after having already been honored in 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
Ronaldo thus overcame the competition of Kylian Mbappé (PSG) and Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid).
Cristiano Ronaldo also scored the one that was considered, in the same gala, the goal of the year in 2018.
We spoke, of course, of that bike pointed out in the duel between Juventus and Real Madrid, in Turin, last month of Turin.
It is recalled that in the year 2018, the Portuguese international represented two teams. From January until July 10 represented Real Madrid, moving to Juventus in a deal that cost 117 million euros to the coffers of the Italian emblem.
It should also be noted that in 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo scored 49 goals and won the Champions League at the service of the meringues.
