Rua Nova announces show in June and invites Susana Félix
Four leading names in Portuguese music — Nuno Guerreiro, Olavo Bilac, Tozé Santos and Vítor Silva — joined forces in 2024 in the Rua Nova project, born from a friendship that began in 2010. The group debuted with the single “Luz”, a tribute to singer Sara Tavares.
Each member of Rua Nova brings with them a remarkable musical story. Nuno Guerreiro was the unforgettable voice of Ala dos Namorados, leaving a deep mark on Portuguese music with his unique dedication and sensitivity. Olavo Bilac gave voice to Santos & Pecadores, with iconic songs such as “Fala-me de Amor”, and was part of the collective Resistência, where he helped reinvent national music in an acoustic format.
Tozé Santos, lead singer of Per7ume, stood out with hits such as “Intervalo” and “(eu) Mudo”, establishing himself as one of the great songwriters of Portuguese pop music. Vítor Silva is the producer behind some of the biggest names in music today, such as D.A.M.A, Fernando Daniel, Nuno Ribeiro and Susana Félix, leaving his signature sound on many of the greatest hits of the last decade.

According to Rua Nova, “losing Nuno was like losing a light. His voice, his generous soul and his unrepeatable dedication to music marked us forever. But it was also from him that we inherited the desire to continue, to sing with truth and to bring to people what unites us: emotion, friendship and the power of songs. It is with a full heart that we announce that Rua Nova will continue. We will continue for us, for you and, above all, for him”.
The music continues: special show with Susana Félix
Rua Nova will return to the stage in June with a concert in the Azores, with Susana Félix as a special guest, with whom Vítor Silva has already collaborated.
