Unlikely in the colours we are made of.
And those who are perfect can leave
We only want those who have already regretted a turn they took today know that it was a false step

We want those who walk barefoot
Who feels from the ground all the freshness and dizziness of the scratches that make us grow
Let’s say
And we will sing, and what is there to see
we cannot guarantee that you will not touch wounds, that you will not turn on sirens, that you will not touch buttons

We will soon see when the opportunities arise
we will talk about childhood and parents,
of beautiful memories and animals
and of course, there is bed love and screaming,
and love lost with blood drained,
where the fight for simple happiness rages.

RUGE is a project by Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho with Daniela Onís and Ruben Alves. A meeting of poetry and music at the intersection of the written, sung and spoken word. RUGE is a show about love and everything around it. It’s about passion and revolt. It was born from the passion for words, which came together in sentences. Then they grew and became an urgency to be said and heard. There are dramas and outbursts, and laughter barely hidden in the ironies.
