Rui Costa finishes Tour de Suisse in seventh
The Tour de Suisse ended this Sunday, with Rui Costa (UAE Emirates) finishing in seventh place in the general classification. Result achieved after finishing the eighth and final stage (conquered by Gino Mader) in sixth position.
Remember that the Portuguese cyclist won the sixth stage, but was penalized by the organization due to an illegal sprint.
In terms of the overall standings, Richard Carapaz (INEOS) took the win, overtaking the competition from Rigoberto Urán (Education-Nippo) who was six seconds off the top of the standings.
