Rui Matos exposes “At the same time in a single boat for two rivers”
From the 10th of February to the 18th of March, the Art Gallery of the Convent of Espírito Santo, in Loulé, will host the exhibition “At the same time on a single boat across two rivers”, by Rui Matos.

In the atelier I cut the iron, separate, alter, deform, and then put it back together.
Conceptually, I dissect and disassemble what we have acquired so that later, with its fragments, we can begin to build a new being. This new being is unique, unrepeatable, and complete».
Thus, whoever enters the exhibition room leaves the real world outside and enters a new world. You will need attention, availability, and empathy to be able to enjoy it.
The opening is scheduled for next Friday at 6 pm. Visiting hours are as follows: Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Admission is free.
