On one of the most special stages in Lisbon, the Coliseu dos Recreios, the artist Rui Orlando presented his latest album ‘Consagração‘.
Good rhythm, a game of images, video, light, colour and smoke was what we saw in this concert and that contributed to special night rhythms that invited dancing, and in which some spectators did not refuse to sing and dance. The artist went throughout the night explaining the reason for each letter, and the story behind the song.
He dedicates each song to the most important people in his life, but mainly to the public that went there to watch the concert. Incidentally, the artist never tired of thanking the audience for their presence in this show, which was very special for him, since a live recording was being made for DVD.
Rui Orlando knew how to touch people, and the public responded warmly, because whenever they could, they got up to sing with him, thus demonstrating that they knew his songs well.
Among the special guests were Ary, with the theme ‘Só Tu e Eu’, Badoxa with ‘Minha Mulher‘ who, in addition to singing, also demonstrated how to play the drums, percussion and electric guitar, in addition to these two artists taking the stage CEF TANZY, Paulo Flores with ‘Ti Paulito‘, Djodje with ‘Isso Magoa‘ and Bárbara Bandeira with ‘Me Leva Contigo‘
There followed very special moments of tribute to Waldemar Bastos, Carlos Burity and Nagrelha, artists who were part of the singer’s childhood, and from whom he sought inspiration. The themes ‘Canção Nostalgia’, ‘Dá Só’, ‘Choro’ and ‘Prometo’ brought the brightness of the stars to the skies of the Coliseu. The themes ‘How I Understand You’, ‘I Ask Forgiveness’ and ‘I Love You So Much’ were also heard.
