In the spring, singer-songwriter Rumia took her latest album, Old Enough To Save Myself, to over twenty stages in Portugal, Spain, and Germany. Today, we are pleased to announce her first Asian tour, which will return to South Korea and debut in Japan.
Released last April, Old Enough to Save Myself is an introspective journey where the pulsating electronics of the ’90s merge with the delicacy of organic sounds, creating a sonic universe as intimate as it is expansive.
Performed mostly in English, the album surprises with a unique version of Ana Moura’s iconic song ‘Desfado,’ presented here with a new interpretation and deeply personal touch by the artist. The linguistic diversity also extends to Spanish, with ‘La Chica de Ningún Lugar,’ where Blanca Pereira reflects on her choice to sing in English. “Emergency,” “Shift in the Air,” and “Role Model” round out the lineup of singles that have been gaining airplay on various national and international radio stations.

The tour kicks off in South Korea with a show at TantumQuantum in Seoul on October 23rd, followed by performances at Song Jung Books on the 24th and The X on the 25th. The tour concludes on October 26th at Booza Books, also in Seoul.
Rumia then heads to Japan, debuting on October 29th at Hoi Poi in Tokyo and, on November 1st, appearing at Club Bagsy at Milkyway in Shibuya, Tokyo.
