“Nonsense” reached the best streaming peak of all time worldwide
Sabrina Carpenter’s latest single “Nonsense” continues to rise and has reached an all-time best streaming peak worldwide and a new peak in the US!
On Spotify alone, “Nonsense” has surpassed 712K daily streams worldwide and 270K streams in the US, up 26% week-over-week, and has seen consistent growth in 9 of the last 10 weeks.
Recently, “Nonsense” has been added to several playlists: Hot Hits USA, pop sauce (1.1 million followers), remains at #2 on the Pop Rising playlist and has also entered the Good Vibes, Pop All Day (where it was cover), Get Popped, young & free (#2 song and over 1.4 million followers) and Spotify’s Best Pop Songs of 2022.
The upward trend began this fall when videos of Sabrina improvising at the end of “Nonsense” began circulating online in every city along her sold-out North American tour, followed by a rise in creations on TikTok and a dance trend that went viral.
Sabrina’s post using the filter “What ‘Nonsense’ will 2023 bring you?” organically got 1.7 million views on the first day!
Later this month, US TikTok will feature “Nonsense” (Sped-Up Sound) with a banner on the sounds page from December 25th to January 3rd.
Sabrina was also present at the American Music Awards, where she presented one of the awards and was part of a viral moment with Taylor Swift that was captured on social media by media such as Billboard, Page Six, NYLON, and EXTRA.
