Sacyr Somague wins work of 14.5 million euros in Brazil

Sacyr Somague will build the new station of the São Paulo Metro network, Jardim Colonial, a project valued at around 14.5 million euros (62.2 million reais).

In a statement, the company clarifies that the project now awarded in Brazil will have a period of execution of 24 months and includes the execution of works of the station and support buildings, visual communication, landscaping, lighting, two kilometres of bike path and adaptation of the system road between the stations of São Mateus and Jardim Colonial.

The Jardim Colonial station will allow completing the 15-Silver Line of the monorail that has the capacity to transport 400,000 people a day.

Once ready, the new station will have nine escalators and four elevators, a constructed area of 5,974 square meters, spread over six floors with access areas and technical facilities.

Sacyr Somague also points out that in the Brazilian market he has already developed other projects in the Metro of the city of São Paulo and is also working on the east line of the Fortaleza Metro.

The company is also present in residential, road and water projects, among other areas.
