The Madrid driver benefited from the race director’s decision to start the first 30 places in the prologue every three minutes (28th), minimizing the dust on the track that connected Jeddah to Bisha, with a special 277 timed kilometers.
Portuguese Ricardo However (Borgward) was only 43rd, 48.51 minutes from Sainz, 41st overall. In SSV, Lourenço Rosa (Can-Am) is 18th, 44.58 minutes from the leader, Spaniard Gutierrez Herreno (OT3). The race started and ended in Jeddah, with about eight thousand kilometers of course, ending on January 15th.
