The two Brazilian artists were at Espaço Espelho d’Água in Belém to present their latest work ‘Yatra-Ta‘ to a full house, even though it was necessary to add more seats.

The São Paulo singer Vanessa Moreno and the Paraíba pianist Salomão Soares already knew each other when they created this project, the duo recorded their first work in 2019, ‘Chão de Flutuar‘, which includes songs of different styles, improvising both in voice and piano, maintaining the lyricism that defines them.

In 2021 they released ‘Yatra-Ta’, considered as one of the most expressive duos of Brazilian jazz today, taking in their repertoire composers such as Joyce Moreno, Luiz Gonzaga, Djavan, Hermeto Pascoal and Tania Maria.

Yatra‘ which in Sanskrit means ‘Journey of Transformation‘ is the guiding line for this second work, which is based on Brazilian roots and creative freedom.
