The athlete Carla Salomé Rocha wins the national cross-country event that took place at Amora, with Sporting winning the collective title again.
Carla Salomé Rocha in the second round was already ahead of the other Sporting athletes, and reached the goal with 27.37 minutes, and so did Dulce Félix, winner in 2019 and cannot be present due to injury.
Also on the podium were Sporting athletes, Sara Moreira who completed the race on 27.56 and Catarina Ribeiro with 28.00, proof that dominated Sporting athletes who still got fourth place, by Jéssica Augusto.
The cross country championships in Portugal were marked by the absence of Benfica, which did not participate because participants were not required to perform covid-19 tests.
The event was held at Parque do Serrado, in Amora, with the participation of 40 athletes, in two series, a preventive measure against the covid-19 pandemic.
