The Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral, took to Maria Matos Teather his interpretation of the successes of Jacques Brel
Salvador Sobral, who most of the public knows from the Eurovision song contest and the music “Amar pelos dois”, has made his career in the Jazz area, was at the Maria Matos Teather to sing Brel, Monday and Tuesday whit a full house of dedicated fans.
In an introduction to the concert, a Jacques Brel recording of the text “Le talent”, then under strong applause, Salvador Sobral starts the concert with “J’Arrive“, followed by “Quand on a l’amour” , “Les Paumés du petit Matin“, “Isabelle“, “Le Moribond” and “Les Bonbons“, then another voice off moment follows with “La bêtise“, followed by another “Fidélité“, creating moments of pause in the interpretations.
The public liked and applauded with enthusiasm, the interpretations that the singer courageously made his own, in a night to remember Jacques Brel.
