Sam Smith returns to Portugal in 2023 for a concert at NOS Alive

July 8, 2023

Sam Smith comes to present the album “Gloria”, which will be released on January 27, 2023.

After having released a new Christmas single, the beautiful ballad “Night Before Christmas”, Sam Smith has just announced his return to Portuguese stages. Sam Smith will present the new album, “Gloria” (in stores on January 27, 2023), on the NOS Stage at the 15th edition of the NOS Alive festival, on July 8.

Certainly, the hit single “Unholy” feat will not be absent from this return. Kim Petras, a true worldwide phenomenon, won the Platinum award in Portugal and has already surpassed 600 million streams. Sam and Kim recently received an MTV EMA in the Video For Good category and were nominated for Best Performance by a Pop Duo/Group at the GRAMMY Awards.

Gloria”, a 13-track album, will be Sam Smith’s most challenging statement to date and the single “Unholy” is the first proof of that.

Since his debut album #1, “In The Lonely Hour” (2014), Smith has accumulated several achievements: 35 million albums sold, 250 million singles, 45 billion streams on all digital platforms, four Grammys, three BRITs, six MOBOs, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, two #1 albums, five #1 singles, two #1 singles as lead singer on hits by Naughty Boy (“La La La”, 2013) and Calvin Harris (“Promises”, alongside Jessie Reyez, 2018). With the success of “Unholy”, a new album, and the preparation of an exciting concert, 2023 will be an incredible year for Sam.

On the 8th of July 2023, we will be able to see all of Sam Smith’s renewed strength live, at the NOS Alive festival.
