Samuel Úria, Manel Cruz, Bia Maria and MaZela among the confirmed artists at MicroSons 2025
Cine-Teatro S. João in Palmela and Cine Granadeiro in Grândola
MicroSons returns in 2025 for another edition that will take place on January 24 and 25 at the Cine-Teatro S. João, in Palmela, before extending to the Cine Granadeiro – Municipal Auditorium, in Grândola, on February 7 and 8.
This itinerant festival, dedicated to the word and music of authors, once again provides a program of proximity, where artists and the public meet in an intimate environment.
After counting on names like JP Simões, Virgem Suta and Ana Lua Caiano in the 2024 edition, MicroSons, organized by Luckyman Music, presents a poster that values authenticity and reflection around music. In the Palmela edition, the highlights go to Samuel Úria, Manel Cruz, Bia Maria and MaZela, who share the stage with other prominent names in a program divided by two days.
On January 24, the Cine-Teatro S. João welcomes Samuel Úria, who recently launched the theme “2000 A.D.”, in which he reflects on the signs of civilizational regression, bringing to the stage his energy and lyricism. The same night counts with Paulo Ribeiro and MaZela, the young artist who won over the audience with the debut EP Desgostos em Canções de Colo, a record marked by the delicate acceptance of pain and transformation.
On January 25th, it will be Manel Cruz’s turn to take the stage, in a solo recording that includes themes from Vida Nova and songs from his emblematic previous projects, such as Ornatos Violeta and Foge Foge Bandido. The evening will also feature Ivo Palitos and Bia Maria, who recently edited the album Qualquer um pode canta, a work that celebrates singing as an expression of strength and community.
After the passage through Palmela, MicroSons will, as usual, extend to Grândola on February 7 and 8, with Carmen Souza, Ivo Palitos, Paulo Ribeiro (with the Coral and Ethnographic Group “Vila Morena”) and Tomás Adrião on the poster. More information on this step will be released soon.
