The Porto Balcony – Tapas and Snacks is the new gastronomic jewel of the city and

Snacks is a unique experience where the irresistible flavours, the environment

In front of this space is Tiago Pereira, 38 years old, who graduated in nursing,
but whose true passion has always been in restoration. Tiago kept since
the times of college the idea of creating a place to share that would promote
conviviality through innovative snacks and flavours. The right time came with
the opportunity to revitalize an iconic site, once known as “Porto à
View”.
With a clean and modern design, the Varanda do Porto – Tapas e Petiscos redefines
the classic concept of tapas, moving away from the traditional rustic style. The space
was carefully thought out to accommodate different audiences, counting on a
special corner for children and a room on the lower floor, perfect for
private events. “We want every client to feel comfortable, be in a
family dinner, a meeting of friends or a moment to two”, highlights
the management.
Among the most appreciated dishes are the crispy chicken strips, a success
between young and old and Travessa Gulosa, an irresistible combination of
French fries, meat and cheese gratins, covered with a special sauce.
Although the focus of the menu is finger food-style tapas, the restaurant bets
also in a francesinha of excellence that reflects the commitment to
quality, while melon sangria stands out as a must-drink
to accompany meals.
